Great weekend with the Supernova guys at Plymouth and the Mountbatten Centre.
Friday was grey and wet wet wet! So wet I think I blew a battery and my battery grip 🙁 will see what happens when they’re dried out and contacts cleaned.
Saturday and Sunday were much better with lighter winds (15mph ish) and gorgeous blue skies.
Thanks to the hospitality all. Some video footage to come soon.
A fantastic trip to Bassenthwaite Sailing Club for the 2017 GP14 Inland Championships. The forecast was for sunny skies and quite a blow on Saturday with the wind dropping off for Sunday.
Unfortunately the SailPics RIB decided it didn’t want to go with me. Two years running it’s had a problem with the GP14 Inlands! This time, a power trim relay was the cause 🙁
Luckily the hospitable lot at Bass were able to help with a ride in a club RIB on Saturday and Sunday was spent in their big grey tea tray (Pioner).
Well done to Furgus and Andy on their win
